I’ve been trying to do quite a bit of sewing recently. Nothing to show you as yet, still a few tweaks to be made but watch this space! So I’ve been spending a lot of time in my Victorian lean-to/conservatory, where I keep my machine, threads and fabric.
It’s not a large area and needs considerable work, including a new roof, but when the sun shines, the room just glows and when it rains you can hear the pitter-patter above. All in all an excellent place to work and on occasion nod off.
So I’ve been collecting some work-space images on Pinterest, which I thought I’d share with you. Admittedly these all look incredibly tidy and organised, which in reality will never happen but I’m sure if you have an inspiring place to work it must influence the creative juices.
If I keep telling myself that I might actually get to work on it!
From Industrial Style
This just happens to be the lead singer of The Cardigans, Nina Persson’s home.
To distressed shabby chic:
To stylized & smart:
To the finer details:
eek..can’t remember the source
Actually the pitter-patter is now sounding like a thundering banging and the roof is starting to leak!
Right……..where to start……bucket, very stylish?
Oooooh love all that industrial style. Why doesn’t my office look like that?
Also love the jam jar pencil and paintbrush holders shot. I’m obsessed with them at the mo!
