How gorgeous are these pictures of Jane Fonda and Alain Delon, taken by Edward Quinn in Cannes in the early sixties? So young and fresh:
Have any of you subscribed to Amanda de Cadenet’s “The Conversation”? It’s like a celebrity online interview (Donna Karan, Zoe Saldana, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lady Gaga etc) but specifically for women. I’m not a massive celebrity lover but I’m actually quite hooked because it does come across as a very natural interaction.
My very favourite interview has to be with Jane Fonda. It’s so inspirational to hear from ladies who’ve been round the block a few times and are ready to pass on a few gems of advice. That’s one of the reasons why I enjoy my sewing class, none of these ladies need any advice in the sewing department, but come along for the chit-chat and are more than happy to pass on a few words of wisdom to their younger colleagues. It’s a bit like being wrapped in a big warm blanket.
The video I wanted to embed is the one on sexuality. Jane’s take on Viagra is hilarious – but for some reason I just can’t seem to copy it in – so take a look here. The one below is a more heartfelt discussion on battling through life’s hurdles. Glad to hear we all go through it!
She’s one feisty lady though and one of the most amusing things is watching Amanda trying to keep up.
Have a wonderful weekend! Cx
