Want an insight into eclectic dressing?
Take a look at this interview with Helena Christensen for FutureClaw magazine, where Helena takes on the role as stylist, and creates an intimate portrayal of her kind of living.
Similar to At Home With Helena Part I, let’s face it, who can resist another look at such gorgeousness?
I think I just might prefer this photoshoot – what do you think?
HC “There are some of my favourite items in there, yeah. It was interesting to have a to go through my own clothes for a shoot. I tend to dress in items that don’t necessarily go so well together. I like it when style isn’t obvious, I always end up feeling most comfortable wearing a combination of something quirky and strange. Maybe style shouldn’t be so much be defined, but rather felt.
I think my style kind of changes too often to be defined. I could be wearing men’s trousers one day, with a shapeless sweater and the next day a vintage slip dress with braids in my hair. To be honest, I feel I dress rather messy confusing at times. But again, it feels right for me to dress that way.”
The interview is well worth the read, as is the magazine actually, particularly if you like your fashion, art and music edgy.
