Country Living Picks

There were some gorgeous things to buy at the Country Living Fair on Thursday.

I wasn’t in a particularly “country” mood – probably something to do with the arctic weather and Angel tube station which seemed to affect my retail instinct. I found myself being drawn to the more unusual products and less interested in ditsy fabric and galvanized buckets of bulbs.

McKinley and Moth

For example the eye catching applique designs as McKinley and Moth. I just fell in love with this purse – it’s sooo up my street.

Dassie

I bought these frames a few years back in South Africa and I can’t tell you how pleased I am that I can now buy them here. Ironically I’m sure I paid more for my frame when I was out there!

You must check out the online shop it’s full of great South African goodies, including some fabulous brightly coloured wooden signs – perfect for the kitchen.

Men’s Society

I also loved this shop full of men’s products, like US Navy blankets (originals), soap-dishes, and hip flasks. It had that kind of apothecary feel to it – old school style but slightly edgy, The website is well worth a look:Mens Society, Country Living Fair, US Navy Blanket
