Kate Foley: Girl Meets World

Last week I was going to do a post on Kate Foley, the British buyer for Opening Ceremony, based in New York. (Although it has recently opened in Covent Garden).

I had absolutely no idea who Kate was until I saw this great image of her on Pinterest, in this fabulous coat.

After some digging I also found out she has a love for vintage white dresses – which, as you know, so do I.  I was about to embark on writing up this post when the love of my life, Buffy the cat, fell ill, so blogging took a back seat. But can you believe, in that time, Kate’s style went global!

British Vogue beat me to it with a great double spread of Kate’s style in the “More Dash Than Cash” supplement and now Garance Dore has interviewed her on her iconic blog! Man…. you snooze you loose!

Well I guess it’s more material for the post.Kate Foley, British Vogue, More Dash than Cash, Opening Ceremony

So back to those white dresses ……

Gorgeous aren’t they? Can I swap closets for a while?

And let’s face it what is a lovely closet without a lovely apartment. Yep, you guessed it she even has a rather stylish nest :

Ok, feeling rather nauseous now!

There’s gotta be a downside?? Anyone??

    • He’s doing much better today thank you. He has an enlarged heart and a blood clot in his back leg so all a bit scary but the one good thing is I have a perfect excuse to wander around with him in my arms and pander to his every whim!
