Last week I was going to do a post on Kate Foley, the British buyer for Opening Ceremony, based in New York. (Although it has recently opened in Covent Garden).
I had absolutely no idea who Kate was until I saw this great image of her on Pinterest, in this fabulous coat.
After some digging I also found out she has a love for vintage white dresses – which, as you know, so do I. I was about to embark on writing up this post when the love of my life, Buffy the cat, fell ill, so blogging took a back seat. But can you believe, in that time, Kate’s style went global!
British Vogue beat me to it with a great double spread of Kate’s style in the “More Dash Than Cash” supplement and now Garance Dore has interviewed her on her iconic blog! Man…. you snooze you loose!
Well I guess it’s more material for the post.
So back to those white dresses ……

Gorgeous aren’t they? Can I swap closets for a while?
And let’s face it what is a lovely closet without a lovely apartment. Yep, you guessed it she even has a rather stylish nest :

Ok, feeling rather nauseous now!
There’s gotta be a downside?? Anyone??
Nope! Can’t see a downside. I can see an apartment I want though! That’s my dream home.
Love her apartment. Love her dresses. Love her lipstick. Love her rugs. Love the warmth in her place. Love her cat. But more to the point, how’s Buffy?
He’s doing much better today thank you. He has an enlarged heart and a blood clot in his back leg so all a bit scary but the one good thing is I have a perfect excuse to wander around with him in my arms and pander to his every whim!
