The 60’s Look by David Bailey “Goodbye Baby & Amen”

I’ve got to be honest, I very nearly gave up writing this post. I don’t know what is going on with this computer or perhaps it’s WordPress, but I feel like there’s a poltergeist at the keys. Somehow I even have a male voice telling me what I’m pressing, I nearly jumped three feet – the kids must have mucked around with the settings. Either that or there’s some weird sh*t going on!

Anyway back to business. I got hold of a copy of David Bailey’s Good Baby & Amen, a kind of round up of the movers and shakers of the 60’s. It’s a great book and there are some great pics of the Shrimp, Marisa Berenson, Barbara Streisand etc. But I thought I’d post this little section called “The Look” – which shows the trend of the year, right up to 1969.

I love the squirrel picture of 1962 and of course the iconic leather clad Shrimp of 1964.
