Random Displays – Still Life

Sometimes it’s not what you’ve got, it’s how you put it together.

Displaying your treasured items can be quite tricky, it takes quite a bit of  imagination. I suppose it’s similar to what Draga was saying in “Italian Upcycling” you need to look at your treasures in a totally different way.

Personally I love the idea of creating a “still life” on shelves or tables, or a collection of images and objects hanging on walls. I’ve collected a few favourite images over the years for my scrapbook, so I thought I’d share them with you.

(I’m afraid I have no idea who to credit them to so if you can enlighten me, please do.)

I love the third image, it’s a very precise arrangement but really intriguing.

If you have some images to add, do comment with a link to your site – it would be great to see more.

Next week I will add Random Displays – Hanging Pictures concentrating on wall displays.

Have a good weekend folks.

  1. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective.

A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appearance. I must say you have done a fantastic job with this. Additionally, the blog loads very fast for me on Opera. Excellent Blog!
