Our extension is taking so long I’m beginning to forget what’s its like to have a home. I’m itching to get the candles out and make things cosy, and without the ability to do that, I feel like I’ve lost my right arm. Apparently we have a month to go but looking outside it seems a long way off!

So to cheer myself up, and live in somebody’s else’s shoes for a while, I’m lusting after Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi’s ranch. What a perfect blend of textures and reclaimed pieces. I love the “Stud Service” wall hanging!

With the dust that’s floating around this house right now I’m more than happy to sleep in the straw with the horses……
